Madden 22 Zero Chill has been revealed as the next major Ultimate Team promo, dropping throughout December with 5 massive releases.
These releases will be led by Offensive and Defensive Champion cards, and our first set will feature Peyton Manning and Calvin Johnson at the top of the heap!
Zero Chill Release Date
Zero Chill will launch its first new set of cards in Madden 22 on Friday, December 10th. This wave will include nearly a dozen Gold cards, a handful of Elite cards, and two massive Champion cards.
The Zero Chill Champions will lead each wave of Zero Chill drops as its highest OVR offerings, and the new Peyton Manning and Calvin Johnson Champions are a great way to kick things off!

Peyton Manning - QB (95 OVR)
The new Madden 22 ratings adjustor, Peyton Manning, caused some chaos pushing his rival Tom Brady down to a 44 OVR rating in Week 12. Despite this first impression, Manning's MUT 22 entrance will be even bigger with his new Zero Chill Champion card!
Peyton Manning will arguably be the best QB available in Madden 22 Ultimate Team on his release Friday, rocking a number of impressive stats.
This includes 94 Throw Power, 95 Short Accuracy, 92 Medium Accuracy, 92 Deep Accuracy, and 93 Play Action ratings. Manning will also be great against defensive pressure, rocking an 89 Throwing on the Run rating and 92 Throwing Under Pressure.
You won't be scrambling for big yards with Manning, but he'll more than make up for it with a cannon of an arm and dependable accuracy.

Calvin Johnson - FS (95 OVR)
Lions fans will look back fondly on the career of Megatron as one of the most talented wide receivers in NFL history - but in MUT, he's got a reputation on both ends of the football.
This is because Calvin Johnson has been released plenty of times in Madden Ultimate Team as an Out of Position card playing Free Safety (FS) instead.
The Madden 22 Zero Chill Champion Calvin Johnson card will also be a FS, the highest-rated FS in the game so far!
Calvin Johnson's new card has some fantastic stats that will help lock down your opponent's passing game.
This includes 93 Speed, 92 Acceleration, 95 Play Recognition, and 93 Zone Coverage.
While Johnson won't be that Man Coverage lockdown safety that many players love to utilize, this card will still be fantastic for taking away options from opposing QBs in Madden 22 Ultimate Team and running down misplaced throws.
