Madden 22: Best starting QBs after the week one Roster Update

Madden 22 has dropped their first weekly Roster Update, and among the most controversial moves will be the quarterbacks who saw ratings dive or rise this week.

We've got full details on every single starting QB in the NFL and how their ratings look in Madden 22 following this Roster Update.

There was little change near the top of the pack, as even a one point dip for third ranked Aaron Rodgers couldn't drop him below any of the nearby names at the top.

Continued struggles could send Rodgers spiraling out of the upper echelon if he doesn't turn things around in week two, but as of now he still stays high despite that decrease.

Dak Prescott saw a jump with a +1 boost this week taking him to 88 OVR, which ties him for sixth place and puts him on track to break into the top five if he can continue to improve throughout the season.

HOW 'BOUT DAK: Prescott put together a strong week one, and there could be more great things to come

It hopefully is a sign of more great things to come for the Dallas Cowboys, their fans, and anyone using Prescott in Madden 22 or fantasy football.

Meanwhile, Matt Ryan dipped out of the top 10 thanks to a three point drop, while Matthew Stafford's slight improvement to 84 OVR crept him right into that upper echelon.

Rest of the best starting quarterbacks in Madden 22 after the Ratings Update

Not every starting quarterback in the NFL has the honor of making that upper echelon, but they've still got to saddle the load of leading a team.

This is perhaps most true of Taylor Heinicke, who never expected to be leading the Washington Football Team but got his next man up opportunity when Ryan Fitzpatrick went down in week one with an injury.

THE NEW GUY: After going undrafted in 2015, Heinicke is getting his opportunity

After a solid first week, Heinicke jumped up one point, and considering his performance against the New York Giants in Thursday Night Football, his bottom of the pack 62 OVR should be on the way up moving forward.
