Madden 21 Ratings: Week 16 Roster Update predictions - Jackson, Goff, Ridley, Kamara & more

With only two games left in the regular season, every second on the gridiron matters.

We know that EA likes to update the Madden rosters based on performance trends.

Who will be getting a boost in the next roster update? And which players will be getting a downgrade?

Lamar Jackson (90 to 91)

Jackson has quietly put together a run of form that is exactly what the Madden rating system looks for.

In the last three games, he has thrown six TDs and only one interception. The Ravens have won all those games, and Jackson has added 239 rushing yards and three rushing TDs.

He is only 92 yards short of another 1,000 yard rushing season but has continued to show he can throw the ball too.

Jared Goff (78 to 77)

As the 2016 1st overall pick, the Rams had a lot of faith in Goff.

He has shown flashes of what he can do but after another dud performance this weekend, we expect to see him drop a little in ratings.

Two losses in a row for the Rams and Goff is throwing picks almost every week. This loss to the Seahawks will hurt.

Jeff Wilson (69 to 71)

As an undrafted RB in his 3rd season, not much was expected of Wilson coming into the season.

He hasn't really had a lot of the ball with only 106 carries, but he's managed to have sparks when he has gotten chances.

Well, he exploded this weekend against the Cardinals.

He was given the ball 22 times and amassed 183 rushing yards. He also had a single reception for 21 yards that went for a TD.

Keep an eye out in wk17.

Alvin Kamara (92 to 93)

Kamara has surprisingly few games over 100 yards rushing due to be a multi-use running back. But this was one of them.

He had 22 carries for 155 yards and SIX TDs.

He should have had a 7th but Taysom Hill was put in on the 1-yard line and scored.

Yes, it's only one game, but Kamara is a top player, and it's a historic game so impossible to ignore in the rating changes.

Calvin Ridley (88 to 89)

Ridley has really stepped up in Julio Jones's absence and with a game to go already has 1,322 yards and 9 TDs.

Despite them being losses, his last four games are the following receptions and yardages - 5 for 108, 8 for 124, 10 for 163, and 5 for 130.

And this is when teams are doubling him.

Julio Jones (94 to 93)

The NFL is a zero-sum game, when some wins it's because someone has lost.

Ridleys gain in rating should be Jones's loss.

He missed the game against the Chiefs which is now six games for the season the Falcons have been without one of the best WRs in the game.

He will miss out on a 1,000 yard receiving season for the first time in 7 years. He is still one of the best, but expect to see another downgrade after it happened last week.
