Madden 21 Ratings: Week 15 Roster Update predictions - Hurts, Newton, Gardeck, Montgomery & more

With only two games left in the regular season, every second on the gridiron matters.

We know that EA likes to update the Madden rosters based on performance trends.

Who will be getting a boost in the next roster update? And which players will be getting a downgrade?

Jalen Hurts (70 to 72)

We correctly called a two-point increase last week - and we are saying it again.

Hurts had 338 yards for 3 TDs but he also rushed 11 times for 63 yards and a TD.

It wasn't enough to come away with the win, but it was very impressive, and now Carson Wentz will be looking for a trade.

Cam Newton (77 to 75)

The NFL is a zero-sum game, and when someone wins, someone loses.

Newton already dropped two points this week, but he has further to go.

The Patriots aren't used to losing, that's what they did against divisional rival Dolphins.

Newton is struggling to show his old ability and only had 209 passing yards with no TDs or INTs.

Dennis Gardeck (73 to 75)

Another player going up by two points last week, we love a story like Dennis Gardeck.

An undrafted rookie, Gardeck starting Madden 21 rated 58.

He made an instant impact and now with 6 sacks he has set a franchise record for undrafted rookies.

After a three tackle, two-sack performance in the win against the Eagles we think he gets another boost.

David Montgomery (80 to 81)

Montgomery has put the Bears on his back at times this season.

It's not the easiest task, and when you don't have a great QB the opposition can scheme to slow down the rushing attack.

This week Montgomery helped carry the Bears to a win over the Vikings.

With 32 carries, 146 rushing yards and two TDs he will be waking up sore but happy today.

Aaron Jones (89 to 90)

In a Packers team that is often associated with Aaron Rodgers, it's another Aaron who took the lead in recent weeks.

In the win against the Panthers, Jones had 20 carries for 145 yards and a TD. The 7.2 yards per carry average is absolutely deadly, and it meant that the Packers could save Rodgers for another day.

Julio Jones (95 to 94)

Jones has struggled with injury this season more than ever before.

He missed the game against the Buccs which is now five games for the season the Falcons have been without one of the best WRs in the game.

He could miss out on a 1,000 yard receiving season for the first time in 7 years. He is still one of the best, but expect to see a slight downgrade.
