Madden 21 Ratings: Week 10 Roster Update predictions - Jones II, Mayfield, Valdes-Scantling, Metcalf, Kamara & more

We are getting closer and closer to the playoffs, and players are playing out of their skin for the chance of a Lombardi.

Who will be getting a boost in the next roster update? And which players will be getting a downgrade?

Ronald Jones II (81 to 83)

Having won the starting HB job in a crowded Buccs backfield. Jones made history for the Bucs with their longest ever TD.

BEATEN THE COMPEITION: LeSean McCoy can't even get a snap due to his play

The 98 yard TD helped him on his way to a 192 rushing yard game with an incredible 8.3 yards per carry over 23 touches.

Baker Mayfield (78 to 76)

In a season that Mayfield should be proving himself, he seems to be doing the opposite.

Despite picking up the win in a 10-7 game vs the Texans, it was one to forget for both sets of fans.

Mayfield escaped the game with 12 passes for 132 yards and no TDs or INTs. A pretty bad completion rate was matched by three rushes for 1 yard for an abysmal 0.3 yards per carry.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling (75 to 77)

Only the 3rd best WR on the Madden 21 roster for the Packers, but this will change soon.

He seems to struggle with consistency, but he's there for the big plays.

In Week 10, MVS came up with 4 catches for 149 yards and a TD. That kind of big play ability is lethal.

DK Metcalf (87 to 86)

Metcalf has been having a sensational season and a big reason the Seahawks and Russell Wilson have been playing so well.

That changed on Sunday and there was a big blip. Wilson was picked off twice, but more unusual was Metcalf being held to two catches for 28 yards.

The reason? Jalen Ramsey. The Rams put their star CB on Metcalf for most of the game and Ramsey showed that whilst Metcalf has talent, he isn't ready to go 1 on 1 with the elite players yet.

Jeff Heath (73 to 74)

Returning to his best, SS Jeff Heath helped the Raiders ease to a victory against the division rival Broncos with two interceptions.

Such a big performance against a fairly low OVR lines Heath up for a small boost.

Alvin Kamara (92 to 93)

He hasn't made a splash in yardage the way Dalvin Cook has, but he is keeping up with the NFL's TD leader.

HIGH SCORER: Kamara knows where the endzone is

With another three TDs against the 49ers, Kamara now has 11 for the season and continues to almost be a bigger threat as a receiver than a runner.

Darious Williams (79 to 80)

Another game-changing defensive performance, Williams also had two interceptions but this was a much higher game where this made all the difference.

With Ramsey shutting Metcalf down wherever he went, it freed up Williams to make plays when Wilson was forced to look elsewhere.

Alex Smith (67 to 70)

Coming back from one of the most horrific leg break injuries in recent time, Smith is one of the favorites for comeback player of the year just for getting back on the field.

Before this injury that nearly ended his career, Alex Smith was regularly rated as an 80+ QB on Madden.

He struggled in his first game back, but that is also in a team with limited ability surrounding him.

He didn't light up the game in a close loss to the Lions, but he showed he can win some games and passed 38 times for 390 yards.
