Theme teams in MUT 21 keep things interesting, and the Chiefs are a team that has plenty of historic and current talent to choose from.
The Chiefs won it all last year, but to do it again will be a challenge. Luckily there's plenty of talent on both sides of the ball to pick from.

For players that put together a Chiefs Theme Team in Madden 21, there are some pickups you can't miss.
The Most Important Pieces
The star of any Chiefs team has to be 92 OVR Derrick Thomas from the Most Feared collection. The pass-rushing ROLB is a monster in the 3-4 defense and will get to the QB with ease.
You'll also need some coverage on defense so it's well worth getting 89 OVR Marcus Peters from the Flashbacks collection along with 89 OVR L'Jarius Sneed from Team Standouts at CB.
Going back in time gets you 89 OVR Bobby Bell from the legends set, team him up with 88 OVR Damien Wilson from Team Builders and you've got old and young across the LB slots.

But it's on offense where the Chiefs have all their superstars in MUT 21.
At QB, who else other than the 88 OVR Patrick Mahomes from Core Elite. Which makes him pretty much the best Core elite you can get.
Blocking for him you need to get the 91 OVR Will Shields from Team of the Week 7 and 87 OVR Mitchell Schwartz from core elite.
Catching passes you are literally spoilt for choice.
The headline though is a Hall of Famer. The 91 OVR Tony Gonzalez from Legends is an absolute monster at TE and virtually unplayable. Opposite is 90 OVR Travis Kelce from Most Feared and you'll have the best TE combo in the game.
Add some playmakers in 89 OVR Dante Hall from Team Diamonds and the incredible 93 OVR Tyreek Hill from Blitz.

The opposition will need some speed covering those WRs.
Filling in the Rest
With the currently released Madden 21 Ultimate Team programs, these are the biggest and most valuable weapons for your Chiefs theme team.
But to bring your team onto the gridiron, you'll have to fill it out.
