While playing League of Legends, players can collect several types of resources and currencies to purchase and create several types of items from the shop and Hextech Crafting.
Earned via playing League of Legends matches, be it ARAM, Normal, Ranked, or even URF matches, players can use the earned resources and currencies such as Blue Essence to net themselves rare goodies from limited-time shops such as the Essence Emporium.

What is the Essence Emporium in League of Legends?
Held twice a year, once towards the middle of the season and once towards the end that takes place in the preseason, the Essence Emporium is a limited-time sale that allows League players to purchase several goodies with Blue Essence.
During the sale, chromas, icons, wards, emotes, and other special prizes can be purchased with Blue Essence. Additionally, each year's Essence Emporium allows players to purchase one skin.
For 2022, following the first opening of the shop during the summer, the Essence Emporium will be going on a hiatus, according to the developers over at Riot Games.
"Running the Emporium is so inefficient it causes delays and feature cuts in other projects like events and missions," stated Riot during patch 12.12. Beyond making the Emporium more efficient to run, we're also exploring navigation and usability improvements for when (not if) it returns. Be sure to spend all your Blue Essence during this Emporium!"
Players were awarded 30 Mythic Essence to make up for the Essence Emporium's hiatus.

What Items can you buy during the LoL Essence Emporium 2022?
Due to it being a reoccurring event, League players can expect the items on sale to generally be the same each year. There are tons of options to choose from ranging from cheaper Mystery Icons priced at 1,500 Blue Essence to an Urfwick skin priced at 150,000 Blue Essence.
