Ruined King: A League of Legends Story has finally got some new energy thanks to a massive PS4 and PS5 announcement trailer!
The trailer features some exciting moments that expand on League of Legends' character building in a new universe. Even better, it announces Ruined King: A League of Legends Story as a next gen title!

Ruined King: A League of Legends Story has no currently slated release date, but has been in development since 2019.
This means we should expect the game to release in 2021!
Ruined King: A League of Legends Story will be a single player RPG.
It will have turn-based combat, and will allow players to explore Bilgewater and the Shadow Isles.
This will all be done through the lens of League of Legends champions, but gameplay will be very different from what players experience on Summoner's Rift!

This trailer gives us an idea of the art style and graphics of the game, which look amazing! It also served as an announcement that the game was in development.
While this is the only trailer for the game, there is also plenty to explore behind Bilgewater and the Shadow Isles.
This includes lore videos from the Tales of Runeterra series, full lore breakdowns, champion bios, and plenty more.
Ruined King: A League of Legends Story is being developed by Airship Syndicate, the company behind Battle Chasers: Nightwar and Darksiders Genesis.
It will be published by Riot Forge under Riot Games.
While we haven't gotten many significant development updates on the game, we fully expect it will release in 2021, perhaps after a beta period.
