LoL: Worlds 2022 Event Start Date, Time, Details and More

League of Legends Worlds 2022 is due to start in the next few days and Riot Games is celebrating in-game.

As is the same every year, there will be a new event for League players which will have new missions, rewards, and more.

Additionally, the event is supposed to start after Worlds begins on September 29 and we now have a date for this.

So, let's take a look at when the Worlds 2022 event starts in League of Legends and what players should expect from this.

League of Legends Worlds event dates

The Worlds event for 2022 will begin sometime after the event starts.

There is currently no official information for its release. However, we can propose a strong guess that the event will release in patch 12.19.

This will be on October 5 2022 as this is when all the cosmetics will drop in the live game.

How long will the Worlds event run for?

Additionally, there is no official information from Riot about how long this event will run for.

However, for the last several years, the event runs for around six weeks.

This gives fans way more time to get all the cosmetics and complete each mission within the Worlds event.

Worlds 2022 dates

Worlds will have some very important sections which all lead up to the finale in San Francisco.

So, here are some important dates for the event.

• Play-Ins: September 29-October 4 at the Arena Esports Stadium at Artz Pedregal in Mexico City, Mexico;
• Groups: October 7-10 and October 13-16 at the Hulu Theater in Madison Square Garden in New York City;
• Quarterfinals: October 20-23 at the Hulu Theater in Madison Square Garden in New York City;
• Semifinals: October 29-30 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia;
• Finals: November 5 at Chase Center in San Francisco, California.
