What is MMR?
Your MMR is a number given to you which calculates your skill level in the League of Legends ranked system. Factors such as your performances in-game affect your MMR and ultimately affect who you'll play with.
People with a similar MMR will be playing with you in the games to provide fair matches. Each game mode also has its own MMR to keep MMR fair.
Your MMR is calculated by performances in these ranked matches. Wins and losses are likely the biggest factors. However, other important statistics could be the player’s KDA, CS per minute, and average gold per minute.
How do I check it?
Riot has not made it possible to check your MMR in the League of Legends client. However, there are unofficial websites that can calculate an idea of your MMR. But these are not the most accurate.
Whatismymmr.com is a popular website used to check MMR in League of Legends. They boast a 90% accuracy by analysing your past 30 matches. Although, the results exclude premade games.
To use the website just follow these steps.
- Type in your summoner name.
- Check you are in the correct region.
- Click search and your MMR will show in the box below.
