League of Legends Preseason 2023 - Heartsteel is still broken despite nerfs

LoL new Preseason 2023 items are out and players are getting to grips with them.

Of course, this means discovering which items are much stronger than others and which champions.

Heartsteel recently was popular due to permabanning accounts in the PBE, but now the bans come from rage.

The strength this item has in the current tank meta makes it a tricky item to counter.

So, let's take a look at Heartsteel in Preseason 2023 of League of Legends and how the community feel about it.

Heartsteel Stats

The new Mythic item in-game has been further boosting the current tank meta in-game.

Here are the stats for this overpowered item.

  • 800 Health
    200% Base Health Regen
    20 Ability Haste
  • Colossal Consumption: Charge up a powerful attack against a champion over 3s while within 700 range of them. The charged attack deals 125 + 7% of your max Health as bonus physical damage, and grants you 10% of that amount as permanent max Health. (30s) cooldown per target.
Mythic Passive: Grants all other Legendary items 1% Increased Health & 6% Champion Size.

As this item is a mythic item, it'll cost players 3,200 gold which seems fair for how it affects the teams.
