Thanks to Riot Games' continuous updating and development of League of Legends, some of the game's usually simple mechanics or features sometimes are hard to find. This is can be the case when logging out of your League of Legends account.

Fortunately, logging out of a League of Legends account is simple and straightforward as it only takes a few steps. Below is how to log out of your League of Legends account:

1. On the client, click on the "X" in the top right corner of the launcher
2. Upon clicking on it, a confirmation window pop-up will appear asking whether you want to Exit the client or want to Sign Out
3. Make sure to click on Sign Out as clicking on Exit won't actually sign you out of your account, it'll close the League of Legends client instead
4. That's it! You've been signed out
