League of Legends latest patch notes did the usual in listing the nerfs, buffs, and changes to items. But it also brought news for those of us who love being up to date with fashion without spending a fortune...a MISS FORTUNE.
The patch will bring back the long-awaited Blue Essence Emporium for those who want the chance to earn some mythic essence. Additionally it will introduce a new type of skin called a Mythic Chroma.
With these updates already live, let's look at what this means for those that haven't seen it yet.

What is the Blue Essence Emporium in League of Legends?
The Essence Emporium is a chance for summoners to grab some exclusive cosmetics, ranging from chromas to ward skins. Additionally, the coveted URFWick skin will once again be up for grabs.
As the name suggests, the shop does not function with Riot Points (RP) but blue essence. This means that those hard-working grinders will be able to purchase skins with the time they have played, not what is in the bank account.
What is a Mythic Chroma?
A mythic chroma is the newest skin type in League of Legends. As you can probably tell, it will be a chroma for mythic skins in the shop. The first recipient of the new type of skin will be Battle Boss Veigar.
Mythic chromas differ from normal chromas as they also change the VFX of that specific skin. The new type will cost summoners 40 mythic essence in their mythic essence shop.
The thing about these types of skin chromas is that they're only available for two patches. Once those patches have passed, they will be vaulted and a brand new mythic chroma will be able to be purchased.
Mythic shop rotation for patch 12.12 in League of Legends
Here is the rotation of skins for this patch.
- Prestige K/DA Evelynn (150 ME)
- Prestige Pulsefire Lucian (125 ME)
- Final Boss Veigar’s Mythic chroma (40 ME)
- Hextech Ziggs (100 ME)
- Dreadnova Darius (100 ME)
- Ashen Knight Pantheon (100 ME)
The Evelynn and Lucian skin will be available for two patches online. But the other three skins and the mythic chroma will be available for five patches. From 12.12 to 12.17.
When do they get released?
The essence emporium will be available from June 28 until July 12. This gives buyers lots of time to cash in that earned essence for some cosmetic goods.
The mythic shop will be in rotation for a total of seven patches.
With all the cheaper ways to get cosmetics ahead, it will be a much more vibrant-looking version of League of Legends.
