After a long wait, Halo Infinite Tactical Ops finally launches today. You will have to get in there for yourself to see if the wait was worth it.

It seems likely this is just the start of where Halo Infinite will go over the next year.

Halo Senior Community Manager responds

In the middle of tonnes of speculation, John Junyszek, the senior community manager, stated that players would receive more than one day in advance of a major event.


This effectively put to bed rumours that it would start on February 8th.

When does the Halo Infinite Tactical Ops Event start?

According to the Halo Infinite roadmap for Season 1, there is room for the Halo Infinite Tactical Ops event to start on March 8th, one month from now


It seems likely that Tactical Ops will go all the way to February 21st, giving the game one day of downtime until the next Fracture: Tenrai event. The team behind Halo Infinite have events constantly on the go to reward players for staying up to date.
