Halo Infinite had a pretty huge launch late last year. Splitting the multiplayer and singleplayer, they hit very different markets and went for very different things. This being said, multiplayer has seen a lot of support and promises even more updates over the coming year. Today, we finally saw the announcement of Halo Infinite 2's release date. Here's what we know.
Halo Infinite Season 2 Release Date
Halo Infinite Season 2 is due to finally arrive next month on May 3rd. This should come with a brand new pass and hints at the future of the game. It seems likely we will see more information come out in the following weeks.
As of right now, we know very little about the coming season of Halo. Given the first few events were dragged on with details for a long time, it seems likely that the team want to avoid these big build ups beforehand. Starting off with a release date is a very smart move.
What is coming to Halo Infinite this year?
Though we don't know all that much about Halo Infinite season 2, we do know some of the plans for the game over the next year. We are expecting to see:
- Co-Op Campaign
- Forge Mode
- New Events
- More season of the Battle Pass
- Brand New Maps and Locations
- New Modes for the multiplayer
As well as this, there are rumours we may see news of a campaign DLC. Given how well reviewed it was, it would make sense to work on somethign new here. Perhaps it could play into the open world design a little more and give us a whole planet or area to explore.
As we start to get more updates on everything over the next few weeks, we will keep you updated right here. Hopefully, the next season is huge.
