Xbox has shared new details about Halo Infinite on PC and the new graphics options coming to 343 Industries' next shooter.

There's going to be Razer Chroma RGB support alongside support for LAN connections, and FreeSync support. Xbox has also confirmed that ray-tracing support is coming in a post-launch update.

You'll also be able to customise your framerate and FOV alongside things like triple-bind keys - if you're into that sort of thing. Halo Infinite was reportedly built "from the ground-up" for PC.

Halo: Infinite Minimum PC Specs

In order to get Halo running on your PC, you'll need to meet the minimum requirements. Given that it's a brand new game running on next-gen console hardware, the minimum specs are a little more demanding than most others;

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10 RS3 x64
  • Processor: AMD FX-8370 or Intel i5-440
  • GPU: AMD RX570 or Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti
  • Memory: 8GB RAM
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 50GB available space

Halo: Infinite Recommended Specs

Now onto where you really want to be (if not better). The recommended PC specs for Halo: Infinite will be what's required to run the game at 1080p resolution and 60fps with the highest graphics settings.

You will be able to tweak the settings for a higher framerate or resolution if you have the hardware capable of doing so. These are just the recommended specs for the game before launch;

Halo: Infinite is set to release on Wednesday, 8 December with both the campaign and multiplayer available on day one. There will also be a limited edition Xbox Series X console and Series 2 Elite Controller released around a month before the game is available. They are available to pre-order now.
