Rockstar Games finally announce long-rumoured GTA Trilogy remasters

Rockstar Games has finally announced their long-rumoured remaster of the GTA Trilogy - featuring Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. Here's everything we know so far.

Rockstar Games has tweeted the following teaser and announced "Grand Theft Auto The Trilogy: The Definitive Edition" - It's a bit of a mouthful, right?

As you can see below, iconic imagery from these three iconic Grand Theft Auto titles have been included alongside the revelation that the GTA Trilogy remaster is "Coming Soon".

At the moment, we don't know when this will be - or how extensive the remaster will be. However, rumours suggest that the remastered GTA Trilogy will be available in November.

In addition to this, reports claim that the remasters will attempt to create a uniform gameplay experience across the three titles - however, Rockstar Games is reportedly working hard to keep each games "uniqueness". What does this mean in actuality, though?

The Definitive Edition of these titles will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC (via the Rockstar Games Launcher). They will also reportedly be releasing on iOS and Android in early 2022.
