Rockstar Games is bringing back the "classic" GTA Trilogy for Grand Theft Auto III's 20th and we can't think of a better way to celebrate. You can check out everything you need to know about the re-re-release of Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, and San Andreas below.

LATEST - Comparison Trailers & Details

The GTA Trilogy is back with a bang - it actually looks like a solid graphical remaster of the original three games. You can check out the Comparison Trailer released by Rockstar Games below:

The Definitive Edition of the GTA Trilogy is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC on November 11th.

You can also check out a few new screenshots below:

The GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition release is going to feature improved graphics, new control mechanics, an updated weapon wheel and radio station wheel, and the ability to restart missions - if that's something you're after.

It's also going to feature 4K visuals - albeit with the retro-styled textures - and 60 FPS performance on next-gen consoles.

UPDATE - They finally announced it!

It isn't much information, but it's confirmation of its existence - so, we'll take it.

Rockstar Games has confirmed that the GTA Trilogy remaster exists and shared the following teaser with us.

More information is expected soon, but GameInformer reports that the remasters will also be coming to iOS and Android in the first half of 2022. This isn't the best news and will most likely mean that this is going to be more re-release than remaster.

RELEASE DATE - When does the Definitive Edition come out?

At the moment, we don't have a confirmed release date - mainly, because the GTA Trilogy remaster hasn't been officially announced. That being said, there were rumours it was pushed back from October 2021 to November 2021 and this would suggest an announcement is imminent.

Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas were all released in the second half of October in 2001, 2002, and 2004 respectively.

With this in mind, we'd put our money on an announcement being made at some point in the next two weeks - the 20th Anniversary of Grand Theft Auto III is on October 22nd.

The best place to check for anything official would be RockstarGames on Twitter - but there are always a few places online that might leak the information ahead of time...

LEAKS - What we know so far

Earlier this week, two major leaks were released online regarding the GTA Trilogy remaster - this is on top of the South Korean rating that appeared online last week, too!

Firstly, three "Official Logos" for the GTA Trilogy remaster have been uncovered. They look legitimate, but it also wouldn't be anything too complicated to falsify by the looks of it. They're not ground-breakingly innovative in their design.

In addition to this, the entire Achievement List for all three titles in the GTA Trilogy has been released. We don't know what each achievement is, exactly, but the icons all look legitimate. What's more, is that there's a new Achievement icon that looks like it's going to relate to San Andreas' biggest myth - Bigfoot.

Expect more leaks to come out over the next few weeks - This GTA Trilogy remaster is going to be an updated look at three classic Grand Theft Auto games. They should offer a more universal experience, however, we're under the impression that Rockstar Games is working hard to preserve the unique gameplay feel of each title.
