It's that time of the week again - GTA Online's Los Santos Tuners update has just added another new car to the game and you won't want to sleep on this one. Rockstar Games has added a new two-door Sports car that'll give anyone you're up against a run for their money. There's also a new Prize Ride Challenge for you to tackle if you want to win your new car, rather than buy it. Here's the latest...
UPDATE - The Ubermacht Cypher has arrived!
The new GTA Online car is one you're going to want to grab as soon as you can. The Ubermacht Cypher is a beast - despite it being a two-door sports coupe. It's a little pricier than some of the other new cars, though - but, it's totally worth every GTA Dollar.
You can pick one up from Legendary Motorsport for GTA$ 1,550,000 - the Trade Price is only GTA$ 1,162,500 if you have the right permissions from the LS Car Meet.
“Powerful, intimidating and a little sadistic, driving the Cypher is the most hardcore experience to come out of Germany since der menschlichen Toilette.”
LAST WEEK - The Karin Sultan RS Classic is finally here!
GTA Online's newest car is an absolute classic - so much so that it has the word "classic" in its name! The Karin Sultan RS Classic is a fantastic all-rounder and it's not even the most expensive new car out there! You can pick one up from Southern San Andreas Super Autos for GTA$ 1,789,000 at full price or GTA$ 1,341,750 at Trade Price - if you have the right permissions from the LS Car Meet, of course.
" You might think the Sultan RS Classic is the perfect car for that Auntie your parents stopped inviting to Christmas. And it turns out that's true, because your parents suck, and your aunt sneaks out at the weekend to co-run legendary rally championships and stack-out her Hornbills loyalty card. Time to take after the wrong side of the family..."
EARLIER - The Pfister Growler isn't as dirty as it sounds!
This week, GTA Online's new car is one that prizes control over power and handling over speed. If that doesn't narrow it down - which we doubt it would - we're talking about the Pfister Growler! You can get the new car from Legendary Motorsport for GTA$ 1,627,000. If that sounds like a bit much, you can chance your hand at getting it for the Trade Price of GTA$ 1,220,250 if you have the right permissions from the LS Car Meet.
" You prefer the book to the movie. You drink spirits neat. You describe your sense of humour as 'subtle' and your lovemaking as 'imperceptible'. You're The Thinking Person. And you choose handling over speed, control over power, and principle over pleasure. You choose wisely. You choose the Pfister Growler.”
EARLIER - Guess what?! It's New Car Day!
This week, it's time to take your rightful place as the ruler of GTA Online's race scene with the new sports car - the Emperor Vectre - from Legendary Motorsport. This will set you back GTA$ 1,785,000 online. However, if you have the right Trade Price permissions from the LS Car Meet Membership... You're only looking at paying around GTA$ 1,338,750.
" Too extra for the classics? More over-the-top than underground? Forget trying to find that scrapyard bucket and make the only first impression that counts in the Emperor Vectre. Like a supermodel with a mean 100m sprint, this is the kind of narcissism that'll ride you till you're raw and leave you with nothing but gratitude."
EARLIER - Vapid Dominator ASP Added
This week, the Vapid Dominator ASP has joined GTA Online and can be found in Southern San Andreas Super Autos for the modest price of GTA$ 1,775,000. If you have the right Trade Price permissions from the LS Car Meet, it will set you back a slightly lower price of GTA$ 1,331,250.
The Vapid Dominator ASP is arguably the best Muscle Car in the game with fantastic acceleration and a top speed that rivals Sports Cars. Its turning is reasonable too, despite having weaker brakes. If you want something different for a Street Race Series tie, you might be in luck. For long open straights and drag races, though... Sports Cars will still be the best bet.
EARLIER - Pfister Comet S2 Added
The Pfister Comet S2 has arrived in GTA Online! It's going to set you back GTA$1,878,000 at retail or a discounted GTA$1,408,500 trade price from Legendary Motorsport online.
This is a permanent feature, too. So, if you can't afford it right now... That's okay! You can always get it later. Here's what it looks like below:
" This isn't just a fast car. It's a car with the kind of reputation that no amount of targeted advertising can buy. So, when some people see a Comet they make a wish. Others run screaming for cover, prophesying doom, destruction, and crippling medical expenses. Either way, you made an impression."
It's one of the faster cars out there, but we don't know where it stacks up against all the other new Los Santos Tuners update.
Every other new Los Santos Tuners update car
Since the Los Santos Tuners DLC is all about underground racing, Fast & Furious or Need for Speed style, it should come as no surprise that most of the new cars are based on muscle cars or tuned drag racers.
In the update, there will be 17 new cars in total over the course of the event, with 10 dropping at launch on July 20. Below is the official description of the update, in terms of new cars.
Naturally, this update to GTA Online will inject a whole new ensemble of fresh vehicle inventory across Los Santos dealerships — ranging from imported tuner cars from Annis, Dinka, Übermacht, and more to that straight up Vapid muscle that Americans have come to know and love.
Below is the full list of new cars in Los Santos Tuners at launch, the other seven will be revealed at a later date:
- Karin Calico GTF
- Karin Futo GTX
- Annis Euros
- Vapid Dominator GTT
- Annis ZR350
- Dinka RT3000
- Vulkar Warrener HKR
- Obey Tailgater S
- Dinka Jester RR
If you'd like to see what all the cars look like, you can check them out on Rockstar's website.
Vehicle Upgrade on PS5 and Xbox Series X
Rockstar also had the following to say about the future of the vehicles added to GTA Online with Los Santos Tuners:
Plus, when GTA Online launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S later this year, select vehicles will be upgradable with all new speed improvements and more. These special upgrades will be available only on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of Grand Theft Auto V — stay tuned for more details.
We'll have more on the update once it launches on July 20.
