Now, looking forward to this Summer... It looks like Rockstar Games has another batch of updates for GTA Online players to look forward to. It isn't going to be quite as substantial as the addition of The Cayo Perico Heist, but it should be enough to keep you busy.

Here's the latest on what we know...

LATEST - Land Races & Triple GTA$

"If you're still in control, you're not going fast enough."

Those are the wise words of Rockstar Games' Social Media Manager and they're not wrong. GTA Online's races are all about going fast. Really fast.

If you want to go fast AND earn a few extra GTA$, there's currently a promotion going on where you can earn Triple GTA$ and RP for playing any Rockstar Created Land Races in-game.

There's also Double GTA$ and RP from Business Battles and Special Cargo Sales. This week is the perfect time to build up some spare money ahead of the new GTA Online Summer Update Event that's on the way.

Cunning Stunts Content Revealed

For those who enjoy the multitude of races GTA offers, Rockstar have added even more and a nice little bonus for playing.

GTA Online Summer Update Announced

In a blog post, Rockstar Games announced everything we can expect in GTA Online throughout the rest of May and into the summer months.

It will include new performance and customization upgrades for vehicles that you can purchase before taking part in new races and robbery missions.

There will also be new Deadline, Survival, and Stunt races and missions coming to the game later this month as well.

Rockstar Games laid out what to expect from the update saying,

"Expect high stakes and high action as crews hit the streets to get hold of the latest vehicles on the hotlist, challenge each other in new race types, or take part in a series of multi-part robbery missions, where a precisely modified getaway vehicle will be your best weapon — all later this summer.

To help gear up for GTA Online’s summer update, eight new Stunt Races are right around the corner, coming to the GTA Online Stunt Series on May 27th. These new tracks will introduce an array of white-knuckle thrills for stunt racers in an assortment of vehicle classes.

Shortly thereafter, fans of the futuristic Deadline mode will get seven new arenas in which to obliterate opponents with their Shotaro bike’s explosive light trail. If eradicating waves of armed resistance is more your appetite, Survival mode will also expand to new locations throughout Los Santos and Blaine County."

GTA Online To Be Released Stand Alone For Free

For three months, PS5 users will be able to download the stand-alone version of GTA Online for free when the Expanded & Enhanced edition is released later this year.

It will also be released on other platforms too, but it will be a paid purchase, much like the stand-alone RDR Online.
