New GTA 6 leaks suggest a second location

GTA 6 is one of the most highly anticipated games, and we are very likely still over a year away or more from it being officially announced.

Despite no official announcement, plenty of "leaks" have surfaced, with some seeming more legitimate than others.

A previous map leak may have held more information than fans first realized.

GTA 6 Map Leak Suggests A Second Location

Recently, we reported on a 4Chan leak of the GTA 6 map, which could hold a lot of weight based on previous reports as the game appears to be set in Vice City, which is modelled after Miami, Florida.

In total there have been four map "leaks" posted to 4chan, while they all look different on the surface, which could make someone dismiss them, looking closer they all appear to be the same map.

This map shows what appears to be an island similar to Florida, which is home to Miami and where Vice City is based on.

Leaks also appear to show a second island, which you can see below.

Players on the GTA sub-Reddit have speculated that this could be based on Rio De Janeiro, another location that has been rumoured for many months for GTA 6.

If these leaks are true, the island locations could show a larger emphasis on boats and planes, which could also open up the possibility of more hijacking missions and vehicle gameplay online.

As with all leaks, these are unconfirmed and can only be seen as speculation amongst fans.

But, it is worth noting that the Red Dead Redemption 2 map was leaked online two years before the games' official release and was originally dismissed as fake, so it is possible that these leaks are correct, even if only a slight possibility.
