Is Genshin Impact on Nintendo Switch?

Genshin Impact has been running for two very successful years, was the winner of the Best Mobile Game of the year in the GOTY 2021, and is nominated for two awards again for the Game Awards of this year.

The game is an open-world RPG that popularizes the Gacha System Worldwide, Genshin Impact is free to play, and the goal is to collect as many characters as possible. It also blends a playerbase from consoles, PC, and mobile devices alike.

With a compelling story and fantastic sound production, Genshin remains the genre's most popular game, but will it be available on Nintendo Switch?

Is Genshin Impact on Nintendo Switch?

Genshin Impact is available on PlayStation 5, PC, iOS, and Android.

With a cross-platform option, players can save the game on any gadget and continue at the same point in a different one.

However, Genshin Impact is unavailable on Nintendo Switch despite rumors indicating that the game will jump to the Nintendo console.

Will Genshin Impact ever be on Nintendo Switch?

A Nintendo Switch version of Genshin Impact was programmed at launched on September 2021, just after the end of the Genshin Impact beta.

Unfortunately, this version has been delayed without any further release date. So at this point, most fans consider that we will not get a Genshin Impact version for the Switch, but rather maybe the next Nintendo console.

We don't have any confirmation from Hoyoverse or Nintendo if Genshin will ever officially be available on Nintendo Switch or if future partnerships are on the way. Until then, we have to expect that the game will remain on its current platforms instead.

What's New in Genshin Impact?

Recently Genshin Impact announced they are adding a new permanent game mode called Genius Invokation, a Trading Card Game that will include tons of the famous characters, weapons, and foes of the game.

Genius Invokation will include an option to compete with other players on your server, making it the first permanent PvP game mode in Genshin Impact.
