Genshin Impact Trail of Delicacies' third part, Path of Austere Frost, raises the stakes. This time players will hunt the treasure left behind by the Adventurer's Guild in the sheer cold of Dragonspine.

Event details
During this combat challenge, players have to defeat 6 encampments of enemies.
With the help of Trail Comforts, players can get a boost for their party from delicious meals.
The event is divided into three trails or paths:
- Part 1: Path of Stalwart Stone, September 27, 2021
- Part 2: Path of Gentle Breezes, October 1, 2021
- Part 3: Path of Austere Frost, October 4, 2021
Delicacy Offerings
Each path has a specific set of food you can offer in order to receive the Trail Comforts. These are the boost your party will gain during battle.

The Path of Austere Frost
Players can find the first encampment in the surroundings of the Thousand Winds Temple. After defeating the enemies and opening the chest, wind currents will appear to lead you to the next challenge.
Special Rules: Ruin Braziers that reduce Sheer Cold are present within the Encampments. The Ruin Braziers will stop after taking DMG and restart after a certain period of time. Opponents will be buff by Rimefrost Infusion Stones.
Path of Austere Frost Delicacies Offerings
These are the meals that players can offer to received Trail Comforts in the Path of Austere Frost:
- Delicious Steak
- Delicious Mondstadt Grilled Fish
- Delicious Cream Stew
- Delicious Delicious Goulash
- Delicious Cold Cut Platter
Note: Travelers can obtain delicious versions of meals in Genshin Impact when they cook the recipe perfectly.
We recommend players cook extra portions of Delicious Goulash, this meal decreases Sheer Cold for 900s
Challenge 1: Cryo Hilichurls
- Camp Enemies: Ice Shield Mitachurl, Cryo Samachurl, Cryo Hilichurls
- Strategy: This is a very easy encampment. Take the opportunity to practice the Ruin Brazier mechanic. Similar to Obelisk Trials.
- Rewards: 10 Primogems, 2 Shivada Jade Fragment, 20000 Mora, 50 Moonchase Festival Festive Fever.
Challenge 2: Slimes
- Camp Enemies: Cryo Slime, Electro Slime, Cryo Whopperflower
- Strategy: Bring a Pyro character, eleminate the Whopperflower before generates a shield.
- Rewards: Primogems x10, Prithiva Topaz Fragment x2, Mora x20000. 50 Moonchase Festival Festive Fever.
Challenge 3: Treasure Hoarders
- Camp Enemies: Fatui Cicin Mage, Treasure Hoarders.
- Strategy: Bring an Anemo character to pull enemies together for elemental reactions. Physical damage character will perform very well.
- Rewards: Primogems x10, Guide to Freedom x2, Mora x20000. 50 Moonchase Festival Festive Fever.

Challenge 4: Fatui Agents
- Leader: Fatui Skirmishers, Electroshammer, Cryogunner, Anemoboxer
- Strategy: Bring a Cryo character to break the shield of the Electroshammer, attacking with a Pyro, Electro combination is ideal.
- Rewards: Primogems x10, Guide to Resistance x2, Mora x20000. 50 Moonchase Festival Festive Fever.
Challenge 5: Cryo Hilichurls 2
- Camp Enemies: Ice Shield Mitachurl, Cryo Samachurl, Cryo Hilichurls
- Strategy:
- Rewards: Primogems x10, Guide to Ballad x2, Mora x20000. 50 Moonchase Festival Festive Fever.
Challenge 6: Great Snowboar King
- Leader: Cryo Hilichurls, Hilichurls, Great Snowboar King
- Strategy: This encampment includes the only Leader type of enemy. Bring your best party to this battle.
- Rewards: Primogems x50, Crown of Insight x1, Mora x20000. 50 Moonchase Festival Festive Fever.
Crown of Insight
The final reward for defeating the 6 encampments is a Crown of Insight rather a familiar reward, it is the rarest of all ascension material. It is use to level up the max level of talents.
Players needs to think very well when to spend them and definitely do not miss the opportunity to obtain more.
