Genshin Impact Developer Chat Details Upcoming Serenitea Pot Features


miHoYo recently posted a Genshin Impact Developer Chat that detailed a few upcoming changes to the game.

While a few subjects were touched upon, a majority of the chat involved the Serenita Pot and quality-of-life changes that Genshin Impact players are looking forward to.

Serenitea Pot Teleport Waypoints

One of the first matters discussed what that of teleport waypoints inside the Serenitea Pot.

Genshin Impact 1.7/2.0 will feature "Sub-Space Waypoints" in the Realm Depot that will allow players to easily travel between the islands of the private worlds

Sub-Space Waypoints will count towards players' load limits but will make it much easier for them to enjoy the overall beauty of the homes.

Paimon in the Serenitea Pot

As of Genshin Impact 1.6 players have been able to invite characters they own into the Serenitea Pot and interact with them, raising their Friendship Levels and earning other rewards.

There has been an important character missing, though.

So far there is no way to get Paimon into the teapot, which does not make sense, since she accompanies the Traveler wherever they go.

While there was not specific update mentioned, the developers said that Paimon will be able to enter the Serenitea Pot in a future version of Genshin Impact.

Farming

The Genshin Impact developers said to keep an eye on the next live stream for information on growing fruits and vegetables in the Serenitea Pot, hinting that farming may well be coming to Genshin Impact soon.

There were no further details on how involved the system will be, but it is coming.

Increased Load Limits

Genshin Impact 1.6 already increased the outdoor load limits of the Serenitea Pot, allowing players to place more objects outside on each island.

The developers mentioned that more increases in the limits are coming using optimizations they have made where multiple items of the same variety take up less load.
