Genshin Impact is reaching a new milestone soon, as the massive game will soon reach its second anniversary.
Fans of the popular gacha game are waiting with big expectations for the kind of celebration Hoyoverse has in store.
With Hoyoverse adjusting their 2022 schedule so the anniversary coincides with the version 3.1 release, it looks like there's plenty to be excited for.
Here's everything we know so far about the Genshin Impact second anniversary event.
Genshin Impact Second Anniversary
Genshin Impact's second anniversary is on September 28, 2022. On the same day, the version 3.1 update is now slated to go live, and players will also celebrate Ayaka's birthday.
Beyond this, though, we expect some events to bring the community together to celebrate.
For this year, the celebration will move to Monsdtadt with the festival called Weinlesefest. In European countries, Weinlesefest celebrates the harvest of grapes used in the production of wine.
Second Anniversary Rewards
For starters, to celebrate Genshin Impact's second anniversary, Hoyoverse is bringing back the daily login event, in which travelers will get big rewards by just logging in to Genshin Impact for 7 days in a row.
In exchange, players will get 10 Acquaint Fates equal to ten wishes for the limited-time Banner.
According to leaks the event this year will be called Path of Gleaming Jade, and it will run from September 28 to October 13, 2022.
Additionally, we are getting a new Free weapon as the reward for the Main Event, the 4-star Polearm called, Shifting Windblade.

Last Year's Celebration
The first anniversary was marked by the introduction of the Electro Archon as a playable but also a bit of controversy as the community considered the rewards they received weren't enough.
That lead Hoyoverse to give 1600 Primogems compensation and the Concert Bundle to all players for Free.
We can expect, Genshin Impact to learn from the previous experience and keep the community happy this time around.
