The Sango Pearl is a speciality of Watatsumi Island, the westernmost island in Inazuma, introduced in Genshin Impact 2.1. These pinkish pearls can be found nestled between coral reefs.
The Divine Priestess of Watatsumi Island, Sangonomiya Kokomi, uses these pearls for ascension. Her rerun banner is being met with much fanfare due to her status as the best healer in the game. As of now, there are 44 Sango Pearls in total. They respawn exactly 48 hours after being harvested.
Sango Pearl locations
Watatsumi Island is located west of Inazuma and is currently the only place where travellers can find Sango Pearls.
The Teleport Waypoint in Sangonomiya Shrine is a good starting point. Sango Pearls are picked from pink coral shells found near water.
Considering they are all in the same region, it is fairly easy for players to accumulate a significant amount in a short period of time.
Where to buy Sango Pearls
There are currently two shops that sell Sango Pearls.
Babak is a shop owner in Port Osmos, Sumeru. You can purchase five Sango Pearls from Babak every three days.
You can also purchase five Sango Pearls from Yamashiro Kenta daily, a shop NPC who can be found in Ritou, Inazuma, after completing Raiden Shogun's Story Quest Imperatrix Umbrosa Chapter: Act II - Transient Dreams.
What to use Sango pearls on
Sango Pearls are currently not used for any recipes or crafting purposes. The pearl is best known to be 5-star Hydro character Kokomi's ascension material. Kokomi is the Divine Priestess of Watatsumi Island and the unwavering leader of the resistance that battled against the Vision Hunt Decree. She is also the featured character of the next Genshin Impact banner.
She is a powerful and versatile Catalyst user with a Hydro vision and great healing powers.
We also recommend to start farming Specters, to obtain Spectral Husk, Spectral Heart, and Spectral Nucleus and unleash Kokomi's full potential.
There are a total of 44 Sango Pearls, distributed in the coral area of Sangonomiya Shrine and near the Palace in the Pool domain.
