Inside this territory with scarce water, and ancient ruins, players will find Sumeru Specialties that will help them to progress in the game.
One of these valuable resources is the Redcrest, a fruit that only grows in this region of Teyvat.
The following guide pinpoints all Redcrest locations in Sumeru and the best uses for these beautiful fruits.

What is Redcrest?
Redcrest is a Sumeru Local Specialty. Redcrests grow even in the hostile desert environment. They are vibrant crimson fruits that contrast with the yellow sand.
Redcrest Locations in Sumeru
Redcrest only grows on cacti found throughout the Great Red San a subregion of Sumeru.
The best location to collect Redcrest in Genshin Impact 3.1 is on the hills surrounding Aaru Village.
Between the Eye of the Sands Ruins and the Dune of Carouses, is also a significant location to pick harvest Redcrest.
The map below shows the location of all Redcrest in the wild.
There are 59 Redcrest in the wild. They will respawn every 48 hrs. Unfortunately, no shop in Sumeru sells it.
In the image below we can see a Redcrest as they are found in the game, hanging from Cactus.
Redcrest Uses in Genshin Impact 3.1
Currently, there are no recipes that require Redcrest as an ingredient and there is no use for them as crafting materials as well.
The only use for Redcrest in the current version is as an Ascension Material of one character:
