Philanemo Mushroom Farming Guide
Ready to forage some Philanemo Mushrooms? Here's what you need to know.
What are Philanemo Mushrooms?
Philanemo Mushrooms are a Mondstadt Specialty found in residential areas of the Anemo Nation.
Players can find these fungi living peacefully on the walls and roofs of houses.
Philanemo Mushroom Locations
Luckily, Philanemo Mushrooms grow only in three specific areas of Mondstadt.
However, these mushrooms can be elusive and will require some parkour and climbing to get to them.
On the map below, we show the locations where players can find Philanemo Mushroom in Genshin Impact.
Considering the help of teleport waypoints, the best area to collect Philanemo Mushroom is Mondstadt City.
However, they are easier to access in the houses of Spring Vale.
There are not many in the Dawn Winery, but if you are short just a couple of mushrooms, you can visit this area as well.
There are 50 Philanemo Mushrooms in the wild, respawning every 48 hrs.
Where to Buy Philanemo Mushrooms
Travelers can also purchase these mushrooms from the wandering NPC Chloris in Windrise. To find Chloris, follow the road in the area.

Best Ways to Use Philanemo Mushrooms
Philanemo Mushroom is an ascension material used to level up characters.
Currently, there are only three Hydro characters that require them.
- Klee, a 5-star Pyro Catalyst Bow User.
- Mona, a 5-star Hydro Catalyst User.
- Barbara, a 4-star Hydro Catalyst User.
Each character needs 168 Philanemo Mushrooms to reach 90, the max level.
The Philanemo Mushrooms are also used as crafting material for the creation of the Anemo Treasure Compass, gadgets used to find chests in Mondstadt.
