Genshin Impact has taken the world by storm since its release in September.
The up to 4 player co-op game is completely free to play and is available on PC, iOS, Android, PS4, and soon to be PS5 and Nintendo Switch.
It has been likened the Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild, so that gives you an idea on what to expect from the game.
Because of this, the game has a heavy focus on collecting items to craft weapons, food, and more.
What Is The Northlander Sword Prototype?
The Northlander Sword Prototype can be used to forge 4-Star swords.
Philosophers believe marbles have the potential to be sculpted into beautiful statures. These prototypes also have unlimited potentials.
It can be used to forge the following weapons:
- Prototype Rancour
- Iron Sting
Where To Find Northlander Sword Prototype?
The Northlander Sword Prototype can be found either in the Souvenir Shop, or by defeating weekly bosses.
Currently there are 2 weekly bosses in the game and both may drop the item, but it is not a guarantee.
The bosses are:
- Dvalin, which can be found in Stormterror's Lair
- Andrius, which can be found in Wolvendom
Each bosses rewards respawn every Monday, so if you don't manage to get the Northlander Sword Prototype you'll have to wait until then to try again.
Alternatively, players can head to Mondstadt and find Marjorie who owns the With Wind Comes Glory souvenir shop.
Marjorie sells the item for 225 Anemo Sigils.
The 1.1 update will launch on November 11th and will feature many changes to the games.
New additions include new characters, items, and quests.
There will also be a Reputation System and a new 2 week event called Unreconciled Stars.

On launch day, November 12th-19th depending on region, players will be able to download and jump into Genshin Impact on their brand new system.
The game will run via backwards compatibility with the PS4 version of the game, as opposed to a fresh PS5 build.
miHoYo have confirmed that the PS5 version will offer better graphics and faster loading times.
Nintendo Switch Port
It is expected that the game will be released on the Nintendo Switch.
The port was originally slated for the end of September when the game left beta.
Unfortunately that didn't happen and it is still missing from the hybrid system.
At some point it should be announced, hopefully with the 1.1 update.
Genshin Impact is still missing from the Xbox One/Series X though, and it seems like it may not be coming to the platform, much to fans disappointments.
