The second major event of Genshin Impact 1.6 is about to begin, offering players new challenges to test their characters' power and earn Primogems and other rewards.
The Legend of the Vagabond Sword is a new Event Domain where powerful boss challenges await, a stark contrast to the leisurely puzzles of the Midsummer Island Adventure.
Time to pull out the S-Tier characters and go to work.
Legend of the Vagabond Sword Release Date
Genshin Impact's Legend of the Vagabond Sword is set to start on June 25, 2021, at 10 a.m. Server Time.
It will run until July 8, 2021, at 3:59 a.m. Server Time.
Legend of the Vagabond Sword Details
The Legends of the Vagabond Sword is a new Event Domain where players can challenge the Oceanid, Primo Geovishap, and the Maguu Kenki in an effort to earn the highest score possible.
Over the course of seven days, different challenges will unlock, challenging players to defeat the bosses while meeting certain conditions.
Players can also increase the challenge by changing the difficulty, as well as by adding Flairs to each battle, earning more points for defeating each boss.
Of course, players are not expected to confront such peril alone.
The Legend of the Vagabond Sword challenges can be completed solo if players wish, but are also available for co-op play.

Legend of the Vagabond Sword Rewards
Each time a player completes a Legend of the Vagabond Sword challenge for the first time they will earn Primogems.
They can also earn:
- 1,500 Points: 20,000 Mora, Guide to Freedom
- 3,000 Points: 20,000 Mora, Guide to Resistance
- 4,500 Points: 20,000 Mora, Guide to Ballad
- 6,000 Points: 20,000 Mora, 2 Guide to Prosperity
- 7,500 Points: 20,000 Mora, 2 Guide to Diligence
- 9,000 Points: 20,000 Mora, 2 Guide to Gold
- 10,500 Points: 20,000 Mora, 4 Hero's Wit
- 12,000 Points: 20,000 Mora, 4 Hero's Wit
- 13,500 Points: 20,000 Mora, 4 Hero's Wit
- 15,000 Points: 20,000 Mora, 4 Hero's Wit
- 16,500 Points: 20,000 Mora, 4 Hero's Wit
- 18,000 Points: 20,000 Mora, 4 Hero's Wit
- 19,500 Points: 20,000 Mora, 4 Hero's Wit
The top reward for the Legend of the Vagabond Sword event is the "Celebration: Battlesong" namecard.

Legend of the Vagabond Sword Event Character Bonus
Each boss in the Legend of the Vagabond Sword Event Domain has a set of characters that received a damage bonus against them.
Each character set includes two 5-Star characters and two 4-Star characters, ensuring each player has a good chance of obtaining bonuses against at least one boss during the event.
Using any of the listed characters will earn Genshin Impact players a +20% DMG bonus during the battle.
