An official PlayStation Blog post lined out the Five Flushes of Fortune photography event that lets players take photos of different targets to earn "troves of treasure."

The Theater Mechanicus event will be available for players to try out as well.

What's more, players will be able to hunt down Geovishaps around Liyue thanks to a quest from Katherine at the Adventurers Guild.

There's a wide variety of different ways to interact with the Lantern Rites event and lots of goodies to come from doing so.

Release Date

The release date for Genshin Impact Update 1.3 has been announced, which means the Lantern Rite Festival has been dated as well.

In a blog post, Sony announced the released date for the upcoming 1.3 update.

The release date is February 3, so you'll want to mark your calendar to try out Liyue's "biggest annual Lantern Rite festivities" then.

There are a wide variety of goodies and new content coming to Genshin Impact on that date as well as the Lantern Rite festival.

Lantern Rite Festival Rewards

There are several exclusive rewards for Genshin Impact players spending time at the Lantern Rite Festival.

These include Peace Talismans, which players can earn through the Theater Mechanics activity.

Peace Talismans can be spent at the Xiao market to earn gifts like new name card styles and the Crown of Insight.

There will be a variety of rewards for completing the Adventurers Guild quest Vishaps and Where to Find Them, offered by Katheryne.

Completing all additional quests in the Lantern Rite Festival will net players over 1,600 Primogems as a reward as well.
