How to Choose a Preferred Region for Commissions in Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact 2.0 is finally live, and while there are plenty of huge new additions to the game, one smaller addition will make the lives of many players much easier.

How to Choose a Preferred Region for Commissions

Genshin Impact 2.0 now offers players a choice of where they would like their next day's Daily Commissions to take place.

There are four different options to choose from (as long as all the current regions are unlocked):

• Random
• Mondstadt
• Liyue
• Inazuma

By default, the region is set to Random.

To change this, players must access the Adventurer's Guide from the Paimon Menu and navigate to the Commissions tab.

Once there, they can select a Daily Commission region from the dropdown in the upper-right-hand corner of the screen with the mouse, or by hitting down the D-Pad.

Keep in mind that the chosen region will not take effect until the following day.

Avoiding Repetition

The new feature to allow players to choose the region for the next day's Commissions came about due to player feedback.

May players were tired of getting the same Daily Commissions day in and day out, so miHoYo decided add in this new feature so players can actively ensure they do not have the same quests the next day.

For players who do not really care about which Commissions they get on a daily basis, nothing needs to change.

Players who want to have more of a hand in their Genshin Impact experience can now choose their preferred region on a day-by-day basis.
