Genshin Impact has taken the world by storm since its release in September.
The up to 4 player co-op game is completely free to play and is available on PC, iOS, Android, PS4, and soon to be PS5 and Nintendo Switch.
It has been likened the Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild, so that gives you an idea on what to expect from the game.
Because of this, the game has a heavy focus on collecting items to craft weapons, food, and more.
What Is Dandelion Seed?
Dandelion Seeds are farmed from Dandelion Plants.
They can be found in the Mondstadt region, usually near the Mondstadt gates.
To obtain them players need to use a Anemo (wind) attack on the Dandelion Plant.
Characters such as Venti and The Traveller have the ability to use Anemo.
They can also be used for the Character Ascension for Diona and Jean.
Dandelion Seed can used to forge the following items:
- Anemoculus Resonance Stone
- Gushin Essential Oil
- Windbarrier Potion
Where To Find Dandelion Seed?
Dandelion Seed can be found in the wild in the Mondstadt region.
There are many locations for it to be found in the region, so you will likely naturally come across quite a lot of it.
But here is a map showing where to find it, courtesy of Genshin Impact Interactive Map.
On launch day, November 12th-19th depending on region, players will be able to download and jump into Genshin Impact on their brand new system.
The game will run via backwards compatibility with the PS4 version of the game, as opposed to a fresh PS5 build.
miHoYo have confirmed that the PS5 version will offer better graphics and faster loading times.
Nintendo Switch Port
It is expected that the game will be released on the Nintendo Switch.
The port was originally slated for the end of September when the game left beta.
Unfortunately that didn't happen and it is still missing from the hybrid system.
At some point it should be announced, hopefully with the 1.1 update.
Genshin Impact is still missing from the Xbox One/Series X though, and it seems like it may not be coming to the platform, much to fans disappointments.
