Genshin Impact Cor Lapis Location: Where to find it, how to harvest it, and how to use it!


There are a number of rare materials in the new game Genshin Impact, ranging in rarity.

These materials are used to fulfil a variety of functions throughout the game.

With some materials being rarer than others, this makes certain elements of the game, such as character ascensions, more difficult to complete.

In this guide we’ll be taking a look at Cor Lapis, and everything to do with the material in Genshin Impact!

What is Cor Lapis?

Firstly, the Genshin Impact wiki highlights that the material can also be known as ‘Cor Petrae’.

The material is a precious crystal which is made of condensed Geo element.

It normally grows along other elements, so keep an eye out for other materials nearby if you stumble across any Cor Lapis.

Where can I find Cor Lapis?

There are two main sources of this material.

ON A JOURNEY: Most Cor Lapis is found in and around Mt. Hulao

One is under cliffs in Liyue, and the other is in Mount Hulao.

Not only this, but the material can also be found in various mountainous areas throughout the map, so keep your eyes peeled.

How do I collect the material?

The best technique to harvest this material will be to use a large sword.

By doing this, you can more easily break down the deposits of Cor Lapis, reducing the time needed to collect it.

It is of course possible to use many other methods to break the material down, but we recommend this one to be most efficient.

What can I use it for?

You use Cor Lapis for a number of character ascensions in Genshin Impact, including Chongyun, Keqing and Zhongli.
