CodaShop started selling Genesis Crystals for Genshin Impact, stating they are an official 3rd party top-up shop for miHoYo's popular free-to-play RPG.

Some fans, skeptical about how legit the service was, reached out to Genshin Impacts's customer service in order to ensure CodaShop was actually a secure and valid place to purchase Genesis Crystals online.

One player posted the response they received from Genshin Customer Service in the official Hoyolab Forums:

"Hellow, Traveler! Completely legal, you can purchase there and it's totally safe and legal ^^ Best regards"

The user, Tavern, encouraged other users to reach out to customer service themselves if they doubted them.

It is worth noting that English is not the first language of many of the customer support representatives.

CodaShop and Other Games

CodaShop is not a new site that popped up just to sell Genesis Crystals for Genshin Impact.

They have been around for some time and also sell in-game currency for games like VALORANT, League of Legends, and more.

CodaShop sells all in-game currency at full price, though sometimes it appears cheaper due to exchange rates.

Players are not really get a deal here, just an alternative place to buy in-game currency without actually having to be in-game to do so.
