The main story finally continues with the introduction of Inazuma and Chapter 2 in Genshin Impact 2.0.

Stillness, The Sublimation Of Shadow is Act 2 of Chapter 2, finally bringing the Traveler and Baal together for their first confrontation.

How To Unlock The Stillness, The Sublimation Of Shadow Quest

To unlock the Stillness, The Sublimation Of Shadow Quest Archon Quest, players will need to have completed the Chapter 2, Act 1: The Immovable God And The Eternal Euthymia, as well as Ayaka's Story Quest and Yoimiya's Story Quest.

Stillness, The Sublimation Of Shadow Quest Walkthrough

The following walkthrough is as spoiler-free as possible. It may contain character names and locations players have not yet encountered.

This Archon Quest is actually comprised of many smaller sub-quests, and the entire Act takes around an hour to complete if players do not take extra time to explore Inazuma.

The dialog choices the player can make during this Archon Quest do not affect the story in any way.

To complete the Quest, use the following instructions:

1. Head to the Teahouse
2. Go to the Statue of the Omnipresent God where the Vision Hunt Ceremony will be held
3. Fight Baal
4. Go to Tatarasuna
5. Ask around to gather intel
6. Go to Nazuchi Beach and help the resistance defeat the Shogun's troops
7. Head over to Fort Fujitou to meet Gorou
8. Follow Teppei
9. Give a Wolfhook or an Onikabuto material to Teppei
10. Follow Teppei
11. Get a plank and rope
12. Repair the barriers
13. Go back to Gorou
14. Go back to the Nazuchi Beach

How to Beat Baal

At the beginning of the quest, players will have to fight Baal, the Electro Archon.

Baal focuses on melee attacks and large AOE Electro attacks.

Using a Polearm, her reach is incredible.

Unfortunately, there is no way to win the battle.

The goal here is to survive as long as possible.

At some point in the battle, Baal will disable all a player's character Visions, with only the Traveler able to use their abilities if they are in the party.

The battle will last a bit longer before Baal finally goes to place a final blow to the Traveler.
