The new 5-star character in Genshin Impact is Alhaitham, the scribe of the Akademiya. An expert in drafting ordinances and documents findings on behalf of the Akademiya.
Alhaitham will be the second male character from the Dendro Element. Recent leaks revealed his abilities and constellations, and there are similarities with Keqing.

Genshin Impact Alhaitham Release Date
Alhatiham will be part of the character banners in Genshin Impact 3.4 which will go live on January 18, 2023.
However, HoYoverse has yet to officially announce the exact date and the characters that will be featured alongside Alhaitham.
Alhaitham Abilities Leaks
The first person to contact the Traveler in Port Ormos in Sumeru was Alhaitham, who was of great help in finding the Dendro Archon.
Alhaitham will have a Dendro Vision and use a Sword as a weapon. He is a very skilled swordsman who uses double-blade attacks to defeat their enemies.
Normal Attack
Alhaitham's attacks are similar to Zhongli, with fast strokes, but he will kick his sword down in the last in his normal attack combo.

Elemental Skill - Universality: An Elaboration on Form
Alhaitham will rush forward, dealing Dendro DMG to nearby opponents when the rush ends, producing a Chisel-Light Mirror that will infuse his normal and charged attack with Dendro DMG.
Additionally, Alhaitham Elemental Skill will have two modes, press and hold.

- Cooldown: 18 s

Chisel-Light Mirror | When this skill is unleashed, Alhaitham will generate 1 Chisel-Light Mirror. If there are no Mirrors at this time, he will generate 1 additional Mirror.
Chisel-Light Mirrors will have the following properties:
·When he possesses Chisel-Light Mirrors, Alhaitham's Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks will be converted to Dendro DMG. This cannot be overridden.
·When attacks of the aforementioned kind hit opponents, the Chisel-Light Mirrors will unleash a Projection Attack that deals AoE Dendro DMG based on the number of Mirrors on the field.
·A total of 3 Chisel-Light Mirrors can exist at once, and they will disappear one after the other over time, and will all disappear when Alhaitham leaves the field.

Creates a Particular Binding Field and deals with multiple instances of AoE Dendro DMG that will interact with the Chisel-Light Mirrors.

·If 2 Mirrors were consumed, 1 will be generated.
·If 3 Mirrors were consumed, none will be generated. |
Alhaitham Constellations in Genshin Impact
The first Constellations of Alhaitham will increase his viability as Sub-DPS, but Constellation 6 will make him one of the strongest DPS in the game.

C4 - Elucidation | When Particular Field: Fetters of Phenomena is unleashed, the following effects will become active based on the number of Chisel-Light Mirrors consumed and created this time around:
·Each Mirror consumed will increase the Elemental Mastery of all other party members by 30 for 15s.
·Each Mirror generated will grant Alhaitham a 10% Dendro DMG Bonus for 15s.
The duration of the effects will be cleared if you use the Elemental Burst Again. |
C5 - Sagacity | Increases the Level of Particular Field: Fetters of Phenomena by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15. |
C6 - Validity | If Alhaitham creates another Chisel-Light Mirror when their numbers have already maxed out, then his CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG will increase by 10% and 70% respectively for 6s.
If this effect is triggered again during its initial duration, the duration of the buff will increase by 6s. |
