Genshin Impact 3.1: Best and Worst C2 Constellations in the game

The first target as a Genshin Impact player is obtaining a character, increasing their talents, and leveling them up, but as we progress in the game, the next step is getting Constellations.

Constellations in Genshin Impact are a system to increase the viability of a character that we obtain more than once, adding a new perk to an ability.

All characters in the game have up to 6 constellations. Sometimes, a constellation can take an average character into a high-tier pick, while others bring next to nothing to the table.

With that, we have listed the best and worst second Constellations in Genshin Impact 3.1.

Ranking the Best and Worst C2 Constellations in Genshin Impact

So why are we ranking the second constellations? Well, the C2 is the sweet spot of investment for 5-star characters. In most cases, it is the first significant increase in power available to some of the game's strongest characters.

But as we will see soon, others simply get it all wrong.

With luck, this list will help you avoid investing in the wrong Constellations and perhaps with picking characters that are easier to upgrade instead.

Best C2s in Genshin Impact

These are the constellations that strengthen many 5-star Genshin Impact characters into more powerful picks.

  • Raiden Shogun C2

While using Musou no Hitotachi (Elemental Burst), the Raiden Shogun's attacks ignore 60% of opponents' DEF.

  • Let's start with the strongest C2. Raiden Shogun at C0 is consistent Support that can be used in most teams.
  • But once you get C2, she becomes a God, capable of shredding most enemies in seconds.
  • Comparable to the best C6 for Main DPS in the game.
  • Kazuha C2

The Autumn Whirlwind (Elemental Burst) field created by Kazuha's Slash has the following effects: Increases Kaedehara Kazuha's Elemental Mastery by 200 or Increases the Elemental Mastery of characters within the field by 200.

  • Kazuha, with no constellations, is already super strong, the best Support in the game.
  • But if it wasn't enough, this constellation buffs his reactions and one of his teammates, taking Kazuha to the next level.
  • Yelan C2

When Exquisite Throw (Elemental Burst) conducts a coordinated attack, it will fire an additional water arrow dealing 14% of Yelan's Max HP as Hydro DMG every 1.8s.

  • Regarding broken heroes, Yelan C0 is an excellent Support with high DMG output, which got even more relevant with Dendro.
  • Her second constellation, however, will let Yelan take the Wheel as an amazing DPS and become the character with the best Elemental Application in the game.
  • Yae Miko C2

Sesshou Sakura (Elemental Skill) starts at Level 2 when created, and their max level is increased to 4 while their attack range is increased by 60%.

  • So far, we have explored constellations that make already amazing characters insanely good. But the case of Yae Miko is different.
  • Consider a niche character who, most of the time, is vulnerable to being blown up by enemies' attacks. Her second constellation will allow her to attack from a safer position while increasing her DMG.
  • Yae Miko already received a big boost with the introduction of the Dendro Element, something to keep in mind for her possible rerun in Genshin Impact 3.2.

Worst C2s in Genshin Impact

These unfortunate constellations don't quite ruin their characters, but they certainly arent worth the enormous amount of Primogems, and should be avoided for better options instead.

  • Xiao C2

When in the party and not on the field, Xiao's Energy Recharge is increased by 25%.

  • Xiao was one of the best DPS in the game, but recent changes left him behind compared with new characters. However, Xiao can still quickly clear all the game content.
  • This constellation, however, makes no sense; Xiao is a DPS that is required to be in the field constantly. Therefore the buff is ultimately useless.
  • Childe Tartaglia C2

When opponents affected by Riptide are defeated, Tartaglia regenerates 4 Elemental Energy.

  • Childe is the only Fatui that is a playable character so far is a fun character that can switch from ranged to melee attacks.
  • Childe's second constellation, however, doesn't work on single attack targets when it could be most helpful, and is ultimately unnecessary when attacking a group of enemies.
  • Arataki Itto C2

After using Royal Descent: Behold, Itto the Evil!, each party member whose Element is Geo will decrease that skill's CD by 1.5s and restore 6 Energy to Arataki Itto.

Its CD can be decreased by up to 4.5s in this manner. Likewise, a maximum 18 Energy can be restored in this manner.

  • Arataki Itto is the character that keeps the Geo Element relevant in Genshin Impact, leading a mono geo group that is a high-tier team.
  • Itto's C2 on paper sounds exciting, but in reality, the Energy Recharge that offers can be replaced by getting good artifacts, so other options are far more relevant.
  • Kokomi C2

Sangonomiya Kokomi gains healing bonuses on characters with 50% or less HP via her Elemental Skill, healing 4.5% of Kokomi's Max HP and 0.6% of Kokomi's HP for each normal attack during her Elemental Burst.

  • Kokomi is Genshin Impact's cinderella story. From being the banner with the worst sales to current day where she is the most popular character in the Spiral Abyss.
  • In the end, though, Kokomi doesn't need any constellations to be a great character, especially her C2, as her normal healing is enough to keep her teams alive against even the most dangerous enemies.
