Recent Genshin Impact 3.0 leaks are helping to give shape to the highly anticipated update, and a new round has revealed some major details.
We are still at least a month out from the version 3.0 update, and it will mark the arrival of the Sumeru region and Dendro element. With so much in store, it's no wonder players are looking ahead at what's coming.
With that, here is the latest set of Genshin Impact 3.0 leaks which cover a new artifact set and some new characters that are reportedly coming next!
Genshin Impact 3.0 Release Date
The Genshin Impact 3.0 update is going live on August 24, 2022. What is confirmed, it is the debut of the Dendro Element and the first region of the new region called Sumeru.
We asked to take the following information with a grain of salt, as all details are subject to change.
Genshin Impact Manga Adaptations Coming in 3.0
The arrival of Sumeru in Genshin Impact 3.0 looks to be the start of adapting elements from the Genshin Impact Manga into the game itself.
According to leaks, Collei and Cyno, the main characters of the manga, are ready to lead this movement by becoming playable characters in Genshin Impact 3.0.
These leaks suggest we will get an older version of Collei, a Dendro Bow user that is mentioned as a 4-star character.
In the case of Cyno, there is a theory indicating he is an Electro Polearm 5-star character. However, we have seen images of a Red Orb that looks like a Pyro vision - so either could be possible.

New Characters in Genshin Impact 3.0
At the moment, there are many different claims for the identity of the new characters coming in Genshin Impact 3.0.
Nearly all leaks agree, however, that the first patch for the Sumeru region will bring three new characters, with one of them being of the Dendro element, who many predict will be Collei.
These are other characters that have been theorized in rumors and leaks so far:
- Tighnari, a 5-star character with a tall male design and elf ears similar to Klee.
- A tall female with a body type like Raiden Shogun and Jean who will have horns like Azhdaha and a Hydro Vision.
- Based on her vision, some predict she will be the Hydro Yaksha, Bonanus.
- A 5-star Hydro female named Nilous who is from Sumeru.
- The Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius, Varka.
With all of these leaks to parse through, we expect better information to arrive after the beginning of the Genshin Impact 3.0 Beta, which starts on July 13, 2022.
New Artifacts in Genshin Impact 3.0
Along with names for new characters, we have received the first leak of new artifact sets.
These two new sets seem quite interesting:
- An Artifact set that will increase Dendro DMG by 20% and debuffs enemies affected by the element
- A second set that will offer a boost to Crit. DMG and reduce the DEF of enemies with shields
On paper, these two sets look quite interesting, and both offer stats that are not available in the current state.
