Genshin Impact 2.8 Trailer and Art LEAKED ahead of Livestream

We are not sure if it is an error or a marketing strategy, but earlier this morning, a short version of the Genshin Impact 2.8 Trailer was leaked via the Epic Games Store ahead of the version 2.8 Special Program.

Along with the video, the cover art for the upcoming version 2.8 Livestream was also published.

Genshin Impact 2.8 Livestream Start Time & Launch Schedule

We are in the final countdown for the arrival of Genshin Impact 2.8, the new patch will go live on July 13, 2022, according to Hoyoverse.

But before that, developers will tease all the new content in a Special Program broadcasted on Genshin's official Twitch.

The version 2.8 Special Program will go live on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at 8pm Chinese Standard Time.

• July 2, 2022, 8 am EST
• July 2, 2022, 5 am PT
• July 2, 2022, 1 pm GMT

Genshin Impact 2.8 Trailer

The Genshin Impact 2.8 trailer filtered by Epic Games is a 30 seconds long. A shorter version than the one we will receive during Hoyoverse Livestream.

However, we managed to see some exciting images of what is coming to the game:

• The video shows the new Genshin Impact character Shikanoin Heizou's skills in action. He is an Anemo Catalyst user that uses his fist to battle enemies.
• The second part of the video show Fischl in a Gothic Purple Castle
  • We know, by leaks, that the castle is one of four domains that will reflect the personality of the characters.
  • Mona, Kazuha, Xinyan and Fischl are the characters will have their domain during this event.
• After that, we see a collage of images, Aether is inside a dungeon, like the ones in Inazuma.
• We can also see a flying boat, which could possibly be the way the traveler and friends arrive in the Golden Apple Archipelago.
• The video ends with the main character of this update, Fischl and the Golden Apple Archipelago.
  • By the way, Fischl will get a new skin inspired in Shakespeare's Comedy: A Midsummer Night's Dream

We are definitely in for an exciting new adventure in Genshin Impact.
