We are approximately two weeks away from Genshin Impact 2.7, the next big major update in the saga of the Traveler. Among a sea of reveals, recent leaks have revealed information about a new event in the next update called Heart of the Machine.

In this event, players will meet a merchant from Fontaine (The Hydro Nation) that will show them a device that can create toys and furnishings as long as the right materials are inserted into it.

Here's everything we know about the Genshin Impact 2.7 Heart of the Machine event, its quests, and rewards in the latest round of leaks.

Event Details

Heart of the Machine will arrive along with the Genshin Impact 2.7 update that is expected to go live on May 11, 2022.

However, rumors of a possible delay are in the air, due to the recent lockdown in Shangai that is affecting the personnel of Hoyoverse.

What is Heart of the Machine?

In the Genshin Impact 2.7 event Heart of the Machine, players will meet a merchant with a machine capable to create toys and furnishings. We assumed some of these creations will be displayed in the Serenitea Pot.

The Merchant comes to Inazuma from Fontaine, the Hydro Nation. From what we know so far, Fontaine seems more advanced technologically compared with the other nations we've seen.

During the event, players need to gather materials and complete three quest creations:

  • Quest Creation Part 1: Source Material
  • Quest Creation Part 2: Elemental Charges
  • Quest Creation Part 3: Core Activations

HEART OF THE MACHINE QUEST: The event will be based in world exploration and creativity.

After completing the three quests, players will be able to create test products, and robotic furnishings according to the toy merchant's specifications.

The Heart of the Machine will also include an exchange section in which friends can exchange different robots, similar to the Genshin Impact 2.2 flowers event, Dreams of Bloom, if leaks hold to be true.

Rewards

Successfully creating test products and trading them with friends will complete challenges and earn the following extra rewards:

  • Special Furnishing for the Serenitea Pot
  • 240 Primogems
  • 150 K Mora
  • Weapon Ascension Material from Inazuma
  • Hero's Wit
