Genshin Impact 2.6 is here, and Hoyoverse (formerly miHoYo) decided to shake things up again.

Kamisato Ayato's big debut is in Tandem with Venti's second rerun. And, we are only receiving one rerun in the second Phase.

Ayaka will be the main star of the second part of Version 2.6 in a surprising move as it is the first time a rerun is the only banner since double banners were introduced.

Without further adieu, here is everything we know about the upcoming banners.

Release Date

Genshin Impact 2.6 is expected to go live on March 30, 2022, running until May 10, 2022.

Every Genshin Impact update runs a six-week cycle, divided into two phases. So we'll see a set of Banners on the update's launch and another after three weeks.

First Phase Banners

Genshin Impact 2.6 first half will have two banners that will run for three weeks:

  • Azure Excursion will feature the new character Kamisato Ayato - a 5-star Hydro Sword Character.
  • Ballad in Goblets will feature the second rerun of Venti - a 5-star Anemo Bow Character.

Kamisato Ayato is the only new character in Genshin Impact 2.6, and this will be the third appearance of Venti in a banner.

Weapon Banner

So far, we have information on a new 5-star weapon coming to Genshin Impact 2.6. The signature sword of Kamisato Ayato a katana called Haran Tsukishiro Futsu.

The bow Elegy For the End will be the second weapon feature in the first weapon banner of Genshin Impact 2.6.

When you possess 4 Sigils of Remembrance, all of them will be consumed and all nearby party members will obtain the "Millennial Movement: Farewell Song" effect for 12s. "Millennial Movement: Farewell Song" increases Elemental Mastery by 200 and increases ATK by 40%. Once this effect is triggered, you will not gain Sigils of Remembrance for 20s.

Second Phase Banners

For the second half of Genshin Impact 2.6, arriving on April 20, 2022, we are receiving one rerun, the Ayaka banner:

  • The Heron's Court will feature the rerun of Kamisato Ayaka - a 5-star Cryo Sword character.

Along with Ayaka, the following 4-stars characters complete the banner:

  • Rosaria- 4-star Cryo, Polearm User
  • Sayu - 4-star Anemo, Claymore User
  • Razor - 4-star Electro, Claymore User.

Second Weapon Banner

Ayaka's rerun was confirmed by the inclusion of her chibi version in the ads of the ver. 2.6 Livestream.

Ayaka rerun also marked the return in Genshin Impact 2.6 of the Katana Mistsplitter Reforged, the signature sword of Ayaka.

The claymore The Unforged will be the second weapon feature in the second Epitome Invocation.

At stack levels 1/2/3, Mistsplitter's Emblem provides a 16/32/56% Elemental DMG Bonus for the character's Elemental Type. The character will obtain 1 stack of Mistsplitter's Emblem in each of the following scenarios: Normal Attack deals Elemental DMG (stack lasts 5s), casting Elemental Burst (stack lasts 10s); Energy is less than 100% (stack disappears when Energy is full). Each stack's duration is calculated independently.

Increases Shield Strength by 40%. Scoring hits on opponents increases ATK by 8% for 8s. Max 5 stacks. Can only occur once every 0.3s. While protected by a shield, this ATK increase effect is increased by 100%.

The following 4-stars complete the second weapon banner:

  • Favonius Lance - Polearm
  • Favonius Codex - Catalyst
  • The Bell - Claymore
  • Favonius Sword - Sword
  • Favonius Warbow - Bow

The Mistsplitter Reforged is great not only for Ayaka, but the Claymore The Unforged is an underwhelmed weapon and the Favonius series are very common. Therefore, we do not recommend pulling for this banner.

Kazuha & Yoimiya

Surprisingly, Genshin Impact 2.6 will have only one rerun for the second phase. This is a big blow for Kazuha and Yoimiya fans, that were expecting their reruns.

Both characters are currently the only 5-stars characters from Inazuma released before the first anniversary, without a rerun.

Kazuha is currently one of the best characters in the game. However, a lot of players mistakenly decided to skip his banner.

In the case of Yoimiya, she is not a very popular character due to her single target-oriented playstyle. But, the game is buffing Normal Attacks characters, and Yoimiya might be set for an epic comeback.

Itto the Troublemaker

The imminent rerun of Arataki Itto and the debut of Yelan and Kuki Shinobu in Genshin Impact 2.7 may delay the reruns of Yoimiya and Kazuha even more.
