Genshin Impact 2.5 Banners Release Time & Date (Baal & Kokomi)
Reign of Serenity and Drifting Luminescence, the second and third character banners in Genshin Impact 2.5, will arrive on March 8, 2022, at 6pm server time. (Chinese Standard Time)
For different regions, the update will arrive at the following times:
- March 8, 5pm GMT
- March 8, 6pm EST
- March 8, 3pm PST
Baal and Kokomi willbe back on
The Reign of Serenity Banner features Raiden Shogun (Baal), a 5-star Polearm character.
Meanwhile the Drifting Luminescence Banner features Sangonomiya Kokomi, a 5-star Hydro Catalyst character.
Both Banners will feature the following 4-star characters:
- K. Sara, a 4-star Electro Bow user
- Bennet, a 4-star Pyro Sword User
- Xinyan, a 4-star Pyro Claymore User

- Engulfing Lightning - 5-star Polearm.
- The weapon is the signature weapon for Baal.
- An excellent weapon for some polearm characters like Baal, Xiangling, and Shenhe.
- Everlasting Moonglow - 5-tar Catalyst
- A very niche Catalyst, only suitable for characters that scale with HP.
- Despite being the signature weapon of Kokomi, most players use Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayer, a 3-star weapon.
Kokomi
The fact that Kokomi cannot inflict critical damages was not very well taken for the community. However, healing plays a more prominent role in the game, making Kokomi a very strong option.
Kokomi is a healer with a great Hydro application that can hit strong making complementary DMG after some investment.
