LATEST - New weapons and banners coming in 2.2
New weapons are always good news. For this update, two 5-star weapons will be featured: Polar Star and Memory of Dust.

Genshin Impact Update 2.2 files is 5.84 GB for PC players.
In the case of mobile players, the IOS file size is 3.44 GB and 3.8 GB for Android.

How to Preload Genshin 2.2 on PC
On PC, you have to boot up the game launcher and click on the "Game Pre-Installation" option on the screen.
After this, the game update should automatically install. Travelers can still play while pre-installing game resources.
Pre-installation will take up a certain amount of your network's bandwidth, so it's best to make sure you have a good network connection.
How to Pre-install on Mobile
Mobile players needs, log into your account and go onto the "Paimon Menu." Go to settings, then click "Pre-Install Resource Package." If this doesn't work, you may spot the package on the main menu after you've logged in. Just click on it to get everything installed.
Travelers in Mobile cannot play the game while they are downloading resources.
Playstation Pre-Installing
Unfortunately for Playstation travelers, there is no option to pre-load the game yet.
Release Time
Genshin Impact Update 2.2 Into the Perilous Labyrinth of Fog goes live on October 13th, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. Server Time.
October 12, 8:00 p.m. PDT and October 12, 11:00 p.m. EST
- The server's maintenance starts on October 13, 2021, at 6:00 am server time, the game will be down around five hours, with players being compensated 300 Primogems for the downtime.
Note: the server's maintenance can finish earlier than the stipulated time. If for any reason last longer, players will receive 60 Primogems for every hour of delayed.
