Genshin Impact 2.0: New Features Arrive With Inazuma

The Genshin Impact 2.0's Special Program Announcement Program wrapped up, confirming many new features players have been looking forward to.

The new update brings many new features and quality of life updates with it to make sure players have the best Genshin Impact experience possible.

Genshin Impact 2.0 New Features

The following list of new features have been confirmed by miHoYo as coming to Genshin Impact 2.0

Serenitea Pot Farming

GRANNY: Madame Ping is awesome

During a developer chat, miHoYo revealed that a new system for farming in the Serenitea Pot was in store for Genshin Impact 2.0.

A new item will be obtained from Madame Ping, allowing players to use seeds to grow vegetables and flowers in their Serenitea Pot

Epitomized Path

Genshin Impact players will now be able to choose a 5-Star weapon to work toward, earning Fate Points for every 5-Star they pull that is not that weapon.

Once a player has 2 Fate Points they are guaranteed to pull the weapon they desire the next time they pull a 5-Star.

Mystic Offering

Performed at a crafting table similar to an alchemy table, a Mystic Offering allows players to trade in three 5-Star artifacts for one from the following sets:

  • Gladiator's Finale
  • Wanderer's Troupe
  • Bloodstained Chivalry
  • Noblesse Oblige

Electro-Based Locale

Inazuma is the realm of the Electro Archon, Baal.

The Electro element will infuse the entirety of the six islands that make up the region, and will feature in new ways unseen to players before.

Inzuma is made up of six different islands:

  • Narukami Island
  • Kannazuka
  • Yashiori Island
  • Seirai Island
  • Tsurumi Island
  • Watatsumi Island

Several key areas of the region include:

  • Grand Narukami Shrine
  • Moushoujin Gorge
  • Tatarasuna
  • Mt. Yougou
  • Inazuma City
  • Ritou

One new feature showed off in the Genshin Impact 2.0 livestream was the ability the travel via Electro pathways, seemingly via some sort of plant.

New Quests

New Story Quests will be available for:

Several new Domains arrive with Inazuma:

  • Momiji-Dyed Court
  • Violet Court
  • Court of Flowing Sands
  • Empty Boat Of A Thousand Gates
  • Shakkei Pavilion
  • Formation Estate

Inazuma Reputation

This one is a given, based on the fact that both Mondstadt and Liyue have a reputation system offering various rewards.

Players can expect the same for Inazuma, with quests, bounties, and exploration rewards.

The final reward will most likely be a set of Inazuma-themed glider wings.

Daily Commission Regions

A quality of life feature that miHoYo has confirmed concerns Daily Commissions.

After the update, players will choose which region their Daily Commissions for the next day will take place in.

This is meant to help reduce the amount players who receive the same commissions day after day.

INAZUMA: A leaked map of the region

Chapter II of the Genshin Impact story will take the players to Inazuma, a region locked away from the rest of Teyvat by the increasingly paranoid Electro Archon, Baal.

Currently undergoing a Vision Hunt Decree, Baal is trying to strip Visions from all the residents of Inazuma and has refused to let people in or out of the region without special permission.

As the Traveler makes their way to the most dangerous region of Teyvat so far, they continue their search for their twin.
