Genshin Impact 1.6 trailer revealed

The Genshin Impact 1.6 update is right around the corner and will once again shake up the game with brand new characters, bosses, and new mechanics and plenty of things to explore.

During a recent reveal stream we found out plenty of new information about what to expect, including the reveal of a brand new trailer.

Genshin Impact 1.6 Midsummer Island Adventure Trailer

During the recent Genshin Impact 1.6 reveal stream a new trailer was released titled "Midsummer Island Adventure".

The new trailer gives us a look at what to expect from the upcoming update, which includes boats being added to the game, which is sure to open up the doors for a lot of new exploration to new islands, and sea themed mechanics such as sea battles, we do get to see a canon being used against a structure in the sea.

We also get to a first look at the two new characters, Jean and Barbara in action as they face a brand new boss that will be coming in the next update.

Release Date

The Genshin Impact 1.6 update is expected to be released on Wednesday, June 9th, however no official release date has been given by miHoYo.

Genshin Impact 1.6 Livestream

There's a new Genshin Impact "special announcement livestream" coming from miHoYo and it's due to address everyone's questions about the 1.6 update that's due soon.

The English-language version of the Genshin Impact 1.6 stream is due to go live on their YouTube channel at 11:00 EST / 16:00 BST on May 28th. There's not long left to wait.

We're also expecting some new promo codes to drop during the stream, so keep an eye out for any way you might be able to get more free Primogems.
