The final event of Genshin Impact 1.6 is the Never-Ending Battle, where players must stave off waves of enemies on the shores of the Golden Apple Archipeligo.
Kaboomball Kombat Details
Kaboomball Kombat is coming to the Golden Apple Archipeligo with new challenges for players and new rewards to claim, including Primogems and a new Namecard.
Chapter II Prologue Has Begun
The quest to Inazuma has finally begun with the Chapter II Prologue: Autumn Winds, Scarlet Leaves.
Talk with Beidou and Kazhua to fight in the Crux Clash in order to win passage to Inazuma, while learning a bit more about Kazuha's backstory.
Midsummer Island Adventure Event Detailed
A new event called Midsummer Island Adventure is coming to Genshin Impact, and more details have been revealed by developer miHoYo.

When Is Genshin Impact Coming To Epic Games Store?
Alongside the 1.6 update, Genshin Impact is available now on the Epic Games Store.
Players will still be able to play the game via the regular Genshin Impact launcher.
Available Platforms
The update applies to PS4, PS5, PC, iOS, and Android.
There is still no official release date for the Nintendo Switch version of Genshin Impact.

New Characters
click to enlarge+ 3With several rumoured characters on their way to Genshin Impact, the most likely that players will see seems to be Kazuha, a 5-Star Anemo Sword wielder.
Kazuha is a ronin from Inazuma who currently works aboard the Crux fleet under the command of Beidou.
Klee is also returning as the first Event Banner of 1.6.
New Items
A new 5-Star Sword and 5-Star Catalyst are coming with 1.6, as well a new 4-Star Bow.

As players explore the new archipelago released in Genshin 1.6, there will be new events and challenges to keep them busy.

Nintendo Switch Release
Originally, a Nintendo Switch port of the game was supposed to launch in September when Genshin Impact came out of beta.
click to enlarge+ 3Unfortunately, this version was delayed and so far there has been no official release date set.
With Genshin Impact 1.5 out in the wild, there is still no word on when fans will be able to get their hands on the Switch version, but it is expected soon with a full release expected in mid-late 2021.
Honkai Impact 3rd Collaboration Revealed
If you're a fan of miHoYo, you might already know a bit about Honkai Impact 3rd. If not, well... It's basically the predecessor title to Genshin Impact and now there's going to be a Collab Event for the title.
This seems like it'll be a little one-way though, with Honkai Impact 3rd getting Genshin Impact content as opposed to the other way around.
In v4.9, Honkai Impact 3rd is due to get a new Genshin Impact boss, new outfits inspired by Genshin Impact, and a few new characters from Teyvat too.
