Genshin Impact 1.5 is right around the corner, with the next patch going live in just a few days.

Here is everything you need to know and when the update will go live.

Latest - Update Time Confirmed

In a blog post, miHoYo have confirmed the update time for the 1.5 patch.

Downtime will begin for the 1.5 update at 6 am UTC+8 on Wednesday, April 28th.

This is 6 pm EST/11 pm BST on Tuesday, April 27th.

Downtime is expected to last up to five hours.

Pre-Load

In a recent post, miHoYo announced that pre-loading for the upcoming 1.5 update will go live on Monday, April 26th at 11 am UTC+8, which is 11 pm EST on April 25th and 4 am BST on April 26th.

Pre-loading will be available for mobile and PC users, unfortunately, PlayStation users will have to wait until update day to install the update.

Release Date

The Genshin Impact 1.5 update will be released across all devices on Wednesday, April 28th.

This new patch should be bringing new Banners such as Eula to the game, as well as the return of Zhlongli.

Release Time

Based on previous updates, we can expect to see 1.5 release on Wednesday, April 28th at 6 am UTC+8, which is 6 pm EST and 11 pm BST on Tuesday, April 27th.

The update will be scheduled for a five-hour downtime with players receiving 300 Primogems for the downtime.

Then once servers go back live players can enjoy all of the new additions to the game, including new Banners, and the brand new Housing system.

PS5 Version

Also on April 28th, the PlayStation 5 version of the game will be released, which will mark the game's official debut on the next-gen system.

The game is currently playable on PS5 via backwards compatibility, but the new version should drastically improve the experience.

Genshin Impact on PS5 will feature up to 4K visuals, as well as improved levels of details and a near-instant load time due to the incredibly fast NVME SSD drive that can be found in the PS5.

There has been announcement yet as to what time the PS5 version will go live.
