The Dawning, Destiny 2's yearly holiday event is back!
Here's everything you need to know about it.
The Dawning End Date
The Dawning began on December 15 and will finish later today on January 5. So, you only have a few more hours to get the items and gear you want.
The Dawning in Full Flow
The Dawning has been live for a few days now, with players getting stuck into all the festive offerings that the Bungie Inc title has to offer.
We've seen a range of new content, as well as the return of some classics from over The Dawning's past - including the fabled Dawning sleighs.
Dates
The Dawning began today, Tuesday, 15 December 2020 and will run for three weeks until Tuesday, 5 January 2021.

+ 2The event is available to all Destiny 2 players, even those playing the free "New Light" version.
What Is The Dawning
The Dawning is Destiny 2's yearly Christmas event which will see players make a Christmas themed recipe and earn exclusive rewards.
"Earn Dawning Spirit by completing missions, bounties, and recipes. With personal and communal goals available, the more Spirit that Guardians generate, the better the rewards that Eva will have for everyone to share."
Players will be able to ride in a new Exotic Ship, as well as earn the Legendary Fusion Rifle Glacioclasm by completing the missions and bounties.
The Dawning 2020
The Dawning has been seen in Destiny in previous years, and it looks set to return soon!
We don't have a trailer for the 2020 edition as of yet, so here is last years trailer to keep you entertained.
What to Expect
As those that have played the Dawning in previous years will know, just about anything goes when the seasonal holiday hits.
We know that a whole host of holiday traditions will be heading to the Last City, but what exactly they entail remains to be seen.
Sparrow Racing featured in the promo's debut back in 2017 and, whilst we are hoping for a return, we aren't holding our breath!
