It's no secret that Disco Elysium is one of the best indie games of the past few years.
You don't earn four trophies at the Game Awards and a slew of BAFTA Game Awards for no good reason.
The quaint indie RPG about an amnesic detective charged with solving a murder mystery has been available on Steam and PC for some time.
But console users playing on PS4, Xbox One or Nintendo Switch (where it would perhaps be best suited) are still waiting painfully for the release to drop.
It was suggested back in April of this year that these console ports were coming "soon", according to the developers at ZA/UM.
But here we are in December and there's still no sign of the release.
However, that could be all about to change.
The games official website was recently given a bit of an update and now displays a teasing message that simply reads "Soon".
Sure, it could be nothing, but we'd like to think dev's have more sense than to bait their fans this way, so we'll go out on a limb and suggest those console ports are about to drop.
With The Game Awards coming this Thursday and a slew of reveals expected to take place - 12+ new games if you read Geoff Keighley Reddit AMA - we think it's pretty nailed on.
For now, we'll obviously caution this is simply speculation on our part, but comeon' what else is it going to be?
We doubt that shiny new PS5 or Xbox Series X will do much for the game, but frankly, after such a long wait, we'll take whatever we can get.
